Declassified US guarding records have shown that former Iraqi f Saddam Hussein told US federal agents, after his pinch in 2004, that he wanted the crowd to believe he had weapons of scads undoing so he would not appear cowardly to Iran.
The FBI conducted 25 interviews with Saddam Hussein after he was incarcerated.
The Governmental Guarding Archive, has released the interviews, in which the former Iraqi president warns of Iran's "fanatic" leaders.
He also denounced Osama bin Laden as "a zealot" and said he had no interactions with al-Qaeda.
